Various concepts of privatization were examined with a view to formulate a board national policy on the basis of analysis the shortcoming the existing legal aspects in Nepal. Apart from this, various concepts of privatization system were also analyzed in the specific socio-cultural and socio-economic context of Nepal. The main aspects were such as a) BOOT Build Operate Own and transfer, b) BOT Build Own and Transfer, c) MOT Maintain Operate and Transfer, etc. The existing banking regulations as well as the national policy were examined in the context of possibility of privation of road and bridges in Nepal.

Various findings were generated on the basis of the comments and suggestions of several meetings held at National Planning Commission (NPC). Several recommendations for legal amendments and banking regulations had been made by this study.
