Project duration: January 1989 – August 1989.
The above project was awarded to Devtec by Department of Irrigation Feasibility Study Project Office. The project TOR comprises detailed survey, design and cost estimates. The total net command area was calculated to 60 ha. The local farmers and Panchayat offices were being approached for the mobilisation of local resources both in cash and kind. Positive responses were received for implementation hence the signature of the commitments of the beneficiaries were collected for further actions
The feasibility study was prepared to provide information on command area, agricultural plan, irrigation source to meet crop water needs, engineering design with possible alternatives, economic developments, cost sharing and implementation arrangement between the DOI and beneficiaries etc.
