Project Duration: 20 February 2001 – 5 March 2001. 

Health and Sanitation Education (HSE) program had been included in RWSS schemes as one of the basic components. It is a key component to be discussed in the communities and make aware and motivate people in the communities during the development and implementation phase of the scheme cycle. The training is proposed to train the SO’s staff working at the community levels. In this training module emphasis will be placed on identification of community felt HSE related problems, its solutions, information collection and analysing problems and needs for preparing a community action plan.

Community Technicians and Community Workers are the Key staff of the SO in the field to mobilise and facilities the community to prepare the community Action Planning. Community Technicians and Community Workers should know the CAP process and use of SARAR tools. SARAR, the participatory learning tools which are very effective in Community Action Planning process.
